Today is One Day Without Shoes.
I didn't get to participate through school due to health codes and rules and all that stuff, but I wore my TOMS! And I told people all about it. And, as soon as the school day ended I kicked off my shoes and padded around on my barefeet.
Over 300 million children don't have shoes.
Americans throw away over 300 million pairs of shoes.
Something is seriously wrong here.
